Rectangular shape ~ Wooden frame in a golden oak color that was so popular in the 80's ~ Sampler has been professionally framed with a paper cover in the back and glass in the front ~ Sampler is a cross-stitched with a mixture of quilt blocks, the alphabet "Welcome Friends" and a row of numbers ~ The crafter has dated and initialed this piece with an "87" and the initials "JL" ~ Stitched on a creamy white or off-white background ... colors in the piece are various shades of blue, yellow, brown, pink & green
